Marketing Services – More than just Internet Services
Oxclove not only provides websites; but marketing
services as well...
What
we do here at Oxclove workshop makes for a difficult short description.
Yes, we make web sites. But web sites can create value for a business
in many different ways both in the marketing arena as well as in
business operations, requiring a wide range of knowledge and skills,
from business analysis, marketing, branding, and more, not to mention
the very skills required for actually putting it all together. Case
in point, the Clearwater Festival was a huge Success. Tickets sales
broke all records for this two day event!
Oxclove
Workshop was selected by the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater to handle
public relations, advertising and the Web
site for the 2004 Clear Water Festival. This event occurred
on June 19 and 20th, in Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
The festivity at the beautiful Hudson River peninsula attracted
more than 20, 000 people. There were a variety of activities and
events to see, hear and participate in. such as; music, dance, games,
crafts, story telling, theatre, environmental exhibits and more.
There were 90 performers on five stages. Find out how Oxclove Workshop
can increase your sales, contact Deborah Benjamin at 845.688.2113.

What’s New with Search Engine Optimization?
A couple of years ago, the most important thing for
a web site’s ranking in the search engine was the presence
of some invisible words called “Metatags”. For a while,
it was how many sites were linked to your site. Currently, the most
prominent feature of any site that affects rankings is the actual
text in the page.
Words Do Count. A great deal of thought must go into selecting your
keyword phrases. These keyword phrases should ideally match the
phrases your target end-user is typing. They then need to be strategically
placed on the web site pages and must be easily accessed by search
engine spiders.
By
Simply creating your ‘keywords’ before the content,
you can help optimize your entire web site so that there is a good
chance that your web pages will appear at the top of search engines.

reach a larger audience using search engines, contact Deborah
