Volunteering opportunities at the Great Hudson River Revival
2004 are now available
Volunteering is a vital way to support the work of Clearwater, and volunteering
for Revival is great! You’ll become part of a phenomenal community
of dedicated people who build and run the festival, which helps Clearwater
do its good work for the river.
FROM
CLEARWATER BOARD MEMBER & SINGER-SONGWRITER DAR WILLIAMS
This year’s Revival is going to be especially
exciting! A TRIPLE CELEBRATION is planned: the sloop Clearwater is being
placed on the National Register of Historic Places, it’s the 35th
anniversary of Clearwater’s launch, and it’s Pete
Seeger’s 85th year. So we’ll have more than ever to celebrate
at our annual community gathering.
As this year’s artists (yes, including me) line up to play for this
very special Revival, we need you! Your volunteer contributions will create
this wonderful event. With your help, it’s going to be a banner
year and a great party.
Many thanks and best wishes,

FROM VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR SUSAN MURPHY
Revival
volunteers are golden! Each and every one is needed and appreciated. We
try to take good care of our volunteers, and we love to see how many come
back year after year. This year for the first time, volunteering for Revival
is a privilege of Clearwater membership. We thought a long time before
making
this rule, but ultimately the deciding factor was that our festival is
fun, but it’s not just a big party – it helps to support Clearwater,
and we need the full commitment of our volunteer community for it to do
that. We hope you will take this step in support of the great work of
Clearwater and its shining Revival festival.
Be sure to read the whole Volunteer Application for important details
that you need to know.Until June, I send you wishes for fair winds and
following seas –
-Susan Murphy
