Sloop Clearwater

The Clearwater Festival is a sailing festival unlike any other. Ready access to the river, and rooms open to the public exhibit and demonstrate the wind in your face activities of rowing, paddling and sailing on antique vessels right on the great Hudson River. A chance to explore and discover the great Sloop Clearwater, launched by a festival to save a river adds depth and meaning to the weekend.

Experience the very heart and beginning of Clearwater’s mission by sailing the Hudson River and learning why the Clearwater has been so active and determined in the preservation and restoration of the majestic river. Come together at the bay for the great launch, and join in for the informal Chantey Sing.
