Houseofstringsny.com

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009

We’ve just launched a new website for Houseofstringsny.com, an outfit out of Bellport, Long Island that specializes in violins, violas, and cellos.  Besides updating the look and feel of the old site, we built the new site using Wordpress as a content management system (CMS).  While Worpress isn’t meant to be a website CMS, it works quite well for the purpose.   Image to follow.  Meanwhile, visit www.houseofstringsny.com .

Besides showcasing House of Strings great stringed instrument offerings, the site offers dozens of articles, and most recently, MP3’s of NYSSMA pieces, all offered gratis.  This is a real resource for students of classical music.

Other websites we’ve created for music include www.trailmixmusic.org, www.jeaniebryson.com , www.homespuntapes.com and many more.

This will be our fifth location since we started over 10 years ago!  Of course, I’m counting the room off the kitchen, where it all started, as location number 1.
