Implementation Specialist/Programmer
Entry Level position available
An Implementation Specialist is an entry level position, and is
responsible for client installations and customizations of our flagship
software product offering: The Venture Information System. This
system is designed to meet the financial, logistic and sales related
needs of importers and distributors.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Implementation Specialist/Programmer will be responsible for
all tasks surrounding the technical implementation of the system
for new customers, including database setup, product installation
and setup, custom report generation in Crystal Reports and customization
of dynamically generated Office 2000 documents using VBA.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of relational databases, specifically SQL Server
2000, including the ability to set up, modify and maintain databases
and create custom queries as needed.
- Ability to modify and produce Office documents generated through
VBA and XML.
- Understanding of basic networking and server setup and maintenance.
- Understanding of .NET is a HUGE plus. Willingness to grow in
this area is a MUST.
- Web development experience is a plus.
- Ability to work with sales team; to react to and meet customer
needs on the fly.
- Strong desire to learn new skills.
- Enthusiasm, energy, professionalism and the ability to work
in a cooperative team environment a must.
